PYRO Phoenix

Absolutely fantastic high quality food and experience. Very aesthetic. The combination of flavor in the dishes are so creative. Get the hand rolled sushi and short rib skewer. Kate made our experience even better! I have been trying many of the popular fine dining spots over the past few days here in Scottsdale! This is my favorite spot in Arizona at the moment!

This dining experience is one of the best I have had in a very long time. The atmosphere was a delight. The service was excellent. We were treated like priority and not just an average customer. The food was divine and delicious. This experience, overall, was such a treat. I honestly would recommend anything on the menu. It is pricey, but the experience was well worth it.

Last night was our second time enjoying PYRO. First off, Mel was our server both times. Each time Mel ensured that our PYRO experience was memorable. The attention to detail, knowledge of the PYRO menu, and the recommendations all top tier! Thanks Mel! The atmosphere was amazing! Great vibes for any occasion. Now, what you all are here for... The food! The short rib skewers are a must. The sashimi was flawless to sight and taste. The Japanese sweet potato will leave you wanting more. The Lamb Chops, NY strip, and Branzino were all stars in their own rights. Varying flavor profiles and uniqueness for each of those dishes. Unfortunately, the salmon did fall short in comparison, not saying it was bad but it did not rank with the other stars on the table. My go to drink is a Oxacan Old Fashioned and it was top 5 in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Don't walk but run to PYRO and be sure to ask for Mel to be your Experience curator because he isn't just a server.

What a fabulous find. We raise beef for a living and are frequently disappointed, but this New York Strip was cooked to perfection and the sweet potato....over the top delicious. We sat at the bar area and Emily was amazing.

A Must-Try Experience! I had such a great time at Pyro! The food was delicious and the concept is super unique—definitely something different in the best way. The atmosphere was fun and lively, with lots of cool and creative decor that made the space feel vibrant. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server went above and beyond with thoughtful recommendations and helpful suggestions that made the whole experience even better. Overall, everything from the food to the vibe to the service was on point. Highly recommend checking it out!

I made reservations on OpenTable for a birthday dinner at Pyro and had a truly wonderful experience. Pyro is conveniently located right next to the Global Ambassador. If you're driving, valet parking is a good option—it’s 5 with validation. Rideshare also works well, especially on busier nights. The atmosphere at Pyro strikes a perfect balance: upscale without being pretentious. It was too hot for us to sit on the patio this time, but it looks like a great spot when the weather cooperates. Service was top-notch—exactly what you hope for at this price point, but not always guaranteed. Pyro definitely delivers. Our server was warm, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu, which added to the overall experience. We ordered the Bone-In New York Strip and the Filet Mignon for our mains, with the Short Rib Fried Rice and Crispy Potato Pave on the side. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. The bearnaise sauce that came with the NY Strip was a great complement, though the steak was so flavorful it was just as enjoyable without it. The Filet Mignon was incredibly tender—it practically melted in your mouth. The sides were equally impressive. The Short Rib Fried Rice could easily stand alone as an entree, and the Potato Pave had fantastic flavor with a satisfying crunch. For dessert, we had the Sticky Toffee Cake. It was delicious and rich, though my one (very minor) suggestion would be to add a second scoop of ice cream—it felt just a touch short on balance for such a warm dessert. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience and a perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion. While Pyro offers a high-end experience, the menu includes some more moderately priced options, making it a great pick for happy hour or a casual night out as well. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try the sushi and skewers.

A wonderful dining experience at this Japanese-American bistro-style restaurant. The food and service is very good. The cocktail menu is also very good. The rolls are freshly made and very tasty especially outstanding was the Pyro Spicy Tuna roll. The skewers from the hearth were cooked perfectly. The Sashimi rice bowl was well received by our group, and the ube panna cotta was a perfect ending- it was also outstanding!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! We didn’t have a reservation, but Greg was so accommodating and still found a perfect spot for us. The service was absolutely top-notch—our server, Joshua, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. We went for pre-drinks before going to dinner and the atmosphere was just perfect for a lively night out. It’s rare to find such great service, and we were really impressed. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent service and a great time!
